Our Confetti bars are made from grass-fed tallow and embedded with soap pieces from our own previous batches of offcuts and end pieces that would otherwise go to waste. Each scrap carries its own color and character, creating organic swirl patterns that are completely unique to every bar.

Why Confetti
Every soap we make leaves behind offcuts and end pieces. Instead of discarding them we embed them into our Confetti bars, giving each scrap a second life and each bar a completely unique appearance. The colors and patterns you see are made entirely from our own previous batches. No two bars look the same. Zero waste, maximum character.
Benefits of Tallow Soaps
Grass-fed tallow is rendered beef fat that's biologically similar to your skin's own sebum. Your skin recognizes it, which is why it absorbs without grease and nourishes without irritating. We source only from grass-fed cattle so you know exactly what's in every bar.
Note on Sensitive Skin
This bar contains embedded soap confetti from previous batches which may include traces of various essential oils, fragrance oils, and natural colorants. If you have highly sensitive or eczema-prone skin we recommend choosing one of our single-ingredient bars like Organic Lavender Oats or Organic Oatmeal instead.
How to Use & Care
Lather between hands or directly on skin. Rinse thoroughly. Store on a well-draining soap dish between uses. Keep away from standing water when not in use to extend the life of your bar.

What makes small batch lab soap different?
Every bar is made with 100% grass-fed beef tallow, which biologically similar to your skin's own oils. Unlike most commercial soaps that strip your skin with sulfates and synthetic detergents, our bars cleanse without disrupting your skin barrier. 5 ingredients or less. Always.
How long will one bar last?
With daily use a single bar typically lasts 6-8 weeks. To extend its life store it on a well-draining soap dish and keep it away from standing water between uses. Tallow soap softens in water so keeping it dry makes a significant difference.
Is this soap good for sensitive and eczema-prone skin?
Yes. Small batch lab was founded specifically for sensitive and eczema-prone skin. Our most gentle bars are Colloidal Oatmeal and Organic Lavender Oats. For the most reactive skin we always recommend starting fragrance-free and patch testing before switching fully.
What ingredients do you use?
Grass-fed beef tallow, organic essential oils or phthalate-free fragrance oils, and natural botanical colorants like turmeric, madder root, indigo powder, and French green clay. Every bar contains 5 ingredients or less, nothing you can't pronounce.
Are your bars vegan?
No, our bars contain grass-fed beef tallow and some formulas contain organic beeswax. We are transparent about this and believe grass-fed tallow from regenerative farms is one of the most ethical and skin-beneficial ingredients available.
How strong is the scent?
Our essential oil bars have a soft, natural scent that's noticeably more subtle than synthetic fragrance. Our fragrance oil bars have a stronger scent throw. All fragrances are phthalate-free and IFRA compliant.
